One of our favourite ever sporting moments happened when Stuart “Psycho” Pearce buried 6 years of penalty miss torment and anguish, exorcising his demons in a Euro 96 penalty shoot-out victory over Spain. The emotion, relief and unbridled joy as he let out his guttural roar was a thing of beauty.
